A part of her continuing series Weedrobes, Nicole bring the subject of sustainable fashion to the forefront. Creating a conversation around 28 handcrafted dresses also known as the Little green Dress Projekt.
Designed with local plant materials, these aren’t ordinary cocktail dresses. These one of a kind garments are uniquely made with their model in mind. Pulling ideas from their personalities and individually sourced materials. Cedar, lamb’s ear, seaweed & heuchera are used with classic lines creating beautiful silhouettes.

Although This collection will be on display in VanDusen Gardens until the end of September as part of Earth Art, many will begin to decompose long before then. This is after all Decomposing Couture.
In the mean time they were made to be worn.
