Back to the Skybridge! Gardeners attending the Northwest Flower & Garden Show were being offered a plethora of inspiring ideas and small space solutions. I’ve written extensively about my visit to the sky gardens last week. Making sure to Indulge Your Inner Artist, we discussed the hot colour of the year, and the must have accessory for your miniature garden all while Trend Spotting from high above the Seattle streets.
Reducing, reusing and recycling. the three R’s were a big hit this year at the garden show. Clearly these garden peeps are tight with Mother Nature. Green thumb approved! Reduction of waste was a strong trend through out all of the gardens. Many fantastic examples are pictured below. I loved the modern take on music in the garden with ‘Heavy Metal’, created by Terabithia Designs. I could feel the music vibrating through me as I poked around their display with my lens. What fun, what creativity!
I have already threatened to plant my dear Husbands drums.
I also included some more shots of some seriously spectacular terrariums. Because, you just can’t have too many pictures of terrariums! Make sure to stop and really look at the port hole photo, to spot the musical inspiration that they creatively inserted. Love it!

Another great blog post Laura! You saw some things that I completely missed, so it’s so fun to re-experience the show through your creative lens. ~ Janet
From Terabithia- thank you for enjoying our garden!
