Skagit Valley Tulip Festival: Fields of Joy!

After being cooped up in the car for the better part of the day, the wide open expanse  of the fields of RoozenGaarde was like a refreshment for the soul. The air, whipped around us. Pushing against the tall lengths of petals, the flowers gently bobbed their heads in the wind.

So serene, so peaceful, so in need of frolicking. Luckily I know a kid….

She digs this kind of stuff too!

I am so glad we focused on the display gardens first. Had the fields been my first stop, I likely wouldn’t have seen anything else. It takes your breath away!

This moment will be forever imprinted in my mind.

It was kind of hard to say goodbye.

Beautiful! We’re hoping to go this weekend, if the weather cooperates. According to my blog, our last visit was 2006. I’m glad your daughter plays along with the photos (at least for those shots) – mine were always so hard to convince.
