Gardening is a kind of disease. It infects you, you cannot escape it. When you go visiting, your eyes rove about the garden; you interrupt the serious cocktail drinking because of an irresistible impulse to get up and pull a weed. ~Lewis Gannit

That's your yard!! you're killing me. The only flowers I have right now are dandelions. There are some days I miss the west coast. You guys get such a headstart. Mind you, that's just an amazing flower bed no matter where you're located. Thanks for sharing.
@Marguerite, thanks! It's been an obsession for years. It's the backyard & vegetables thats still new to me. As for the dandelions, as my blog title states. I have tons of those! I could corner the market
@The Redneck Rosarian & MulchMaid, thanks! I love the garden this time of year. It takes on a very Alice in Wonderland sort of feel. Thanks entirely to the roses, foxglove & Lupine. Show stoppers for sure!

Love the garden! Love the drops of water on your rose.
@That Bloomin' Garden that rose is a Betty Boop. I love the warmth of it's blooms. The tiny drops of water are neat.
I love lupins! Your garden looks as though it should be at Chelsea!
@TopVeg well thanks! That's quite a compliment. Lupine's are one of my favorite flowers. As luck would have it, they are also a wildflower in BC.
Your garden is bursting with color and life. Love, love the casual look of the two toned rose. Is it scented? A rose that pretty must be!
You said the chives are waiting to join up with some potatoes…being a vegetarian, I love potatoes…BBQ at your place this summer?
@Linda there is a mild fruity fragrance. It's quite nice.@Mike your hilarious! I responded to you in the next post
love the foxgloves and roses!
That lupine shot is worth the price of admission! I love lupines too.
