Home grown produce.

We’ve had progress in the Veggie beds.
The pumpkins have exploded!
Their arms stretched out eager to acquire more ground.
Flowers dazzle ,
shaded by the monolithic leaves.
Over at the tomatoes,
space is at a premium.
They are no worse for wear.
They are healthy and strong.
I am looking forward to a crop of all varieties of tomatoes this year.
Hopefully narrowing it down to a few prime choices for next year.
Live and learn.
I even have my first tomato over in the hanging basket starting to ripen.
The colour dazzles me already.
So fresh,
so pure.
The watermelon is starting to bud up.
I even spotted a cucumber flower today.
The peas require netting.
Something I will try to remember this week.
